Biography

Richard K. Miller is the founder of genealogy research software Goldie May. He previously worked as a software engineer and executive at three genealogy companies. Now he's building Goldie May for his own research and yours.

Richard has presented at RootsTech, Legacy Family Tree Webinars, UK Society of Genealogists, BYU Family History Library, BYU Family History Technology Workshop, Allen County Public Library, and dozens of genealogical societies.

Richard has appeared on the Research Like a Pro podcast, Family History Fanatics, Aimee Cross's Genealogy Hints, DearMyrtle, and GenFriends.

Goldie May has also appeared on James Tanner's Genealogy's Star, Randy Seaver's Genea-Musings, Jim Beidler's Roots & Branches, and Diana Elder & Nicole Dyer's Family Locket.

This will be a live demo of genealogy research software Goldie May. Goldie May helps genealogists stay more organized, sort out the difficult tangles in family trees, and do more with their time. Features include an automatic research log, a novel timeline tool, and a one-stop shop for finding collections around the Internet. Goldie May does not replace the genealogy software you already use, but it might replace the sticky notes on your monitor, the papers around your office, and the tools you use to figure out the tough problems.
